Summer Schedule Posted

Hello to everyone. I just wanted to note that the complete summer schedule (which was detailed in the info packet brought home in May) has been posted on the band documents site. Just click on the link on the left sidebar of this page, click on "Show all pages" at the bottom the pbwiki site, and find the "Summer Schedule" page. There are details on the Oak Park July 4th parade, as well.

This is a link to a great article in the Arts section of the New York Times from over the weekend. It's a very accurate picture, I think, of the dichotomy facing working classical musicians, with professional pursuits on one hand and the real world public school situation on the other.
